ChopLoop 2.0 :)

Edit-

I thought i had it finish before, but then i changed the melody, with the help of Mr. Rabuse :D
-----

At the beginning of the project i was really really confused and had no idea what to do. So i started out by picking a random note, which was an F, and used the chop tool, and i had such a hard time finding one that i thought would sound good. So i looked, and looked, and looked, and finally found the Trance 2 Chop file, and i thought it sounded like a cool rock-y song :p. So next i used the boo bass for the bass line, and i entered another long F (but down an octave) and used the chop toll of course. I used the Trance 2 chop file for this as well.

After i entered the bass, i looked on the FPC channel and found the drum loop i used (im not sure which one it was but i think it was a dance one) which seemed to fit teh guitar and bass part really well, so i put it right in there.

Next it was time for the melody... which i wasnt able to do easily... At first i had a really kiddish meldoy, and used it, but decied it wasn't good enough, and it didnt really fit in with the rest of the project. So i asked for help, and Mr. Rabuse helped me come up wit hthe melody that i have now. I used the "FatAss" SimSynth sound for it.

Then i TRIED to make an ending... but it kinda failed -_-'

Hope you like it :D

  1. I really like this. Especially how the melody is jumpy by, I have no idea what you call this but how you alternate the keys as you go down. Everything melds together and flows nicely together too, the ending isnt bad, I like how it hangs on the last note. Cool loop

  2. I rather like the ending, but what I especially like is the layers of sound that you have created. All the parts work well together, and that's not easy to do using the chop function. The bass sound is exceptionally good- very heavy. The melody is strong. it may be too strong - almost overwhelming the other layers. I would be interested to hear what the same melody would sound like over these layers using a more subtle sound.

  3. I enjoyed the jump guitar inderlay. The melody gives it an interesting - almost creepy - something. I just can't seem to find the right word to describe it. But the something is a very good something. YOur ending isn't a failer in the least. It ties the whole peice together.
